Bula everyone!

Soooo… here I am in Fiji! Let’s tell the stories in order. First off, I’m proud of only having 10 kg in my main bag, 5kg in my little one, and another 5 for tent and panniers and sleeping bag. I am! Anyway, got to heathrow, not hugely early but not late by any stretch of the imagination. Turns out BA had overbooked like rabid dogs, and there were simply no seats left on the flight to LA, not even in business. They tried to put me in a hotel, or route me via Japan, but I would have missed my flight in Fiji. It was not starting very well… Eventually they put me on an air france flight. Dad called the captain, and seat number 45L wasn’t going to hold for long : )   So, I flew business to LA and then all went well and I reached Taveuni, the Garden Island.

So! I’ve picked a blog website (thanks to Antony’s advice), I’ve picked a blog name (lisroundtheworld… easy enough to remember?), I’ve even picked a design and a couple of plugins.

I’ll try and update this once a week or so – I don’t know, I’ll see how much/little time I have, and how keen I am to being near a computer! I will try and keep it bilingual for my French friends… with my sister’s help potentially.
